Walmart Says Sorry For Calling Large-Size Halloween Selection Fat Girl Costumes

Retailer Walmart apologized for labeling plus-size Halloween costumes sold on its online store as “Fat Girl Costumes”. Twitter user Kristyn Washburn was one of the first to bring the matter to the retailer's attention and promptly began a social media alert. A Walmart spokesperson said the incident was “unacceptable,” and assured everybody the company was doing everything to prevent it from ever happening again.
