Millions Of Brazilian Consumers Look For Bargains On Alibaba's Local Site

In July 2014, more than 12 million consumers in Brazil browsed Alibaba’s AliExpress website, a unit of China’s online commerce company Alibaba.com, according to comScore. Data from the market research firm also revealed 1.5 million consumers visited the website in 2013. Also, from June to July 2014, the number of Brazilian consumers who visited the site increased 40 percent. Demand for bargains is driving the increase in the number of AliExpress website visitors, data also showed.
