L’Oreal Study Re-Emphasizes Importance Of Digital Marketing Strategies

The new reality for cosmetic and beauty companies is that social media marketing is a must, according to a L’Oreal communications manager. A recent company study found that 70 percent of consumers use the Internet to research products before buying. So it is more important than ever to know the consumer intimately. Direct relationships with consumers – and boosting brand image and positioning – are now possible because of “new 360-degree communication and marketing strategies”, the company said. “The consumer is instrumental.”
